just set these up yesterday evening. they feel really nice while riding, but if i get a flat i think i'll just throw the whole wheel away as they suck trying to put them on. i think from here on out i'll stick with folding bead tires as i have way better luck getting those on and off. maybe i'm just a wuss though. yeah, it's probably just that.

i actually had a chance to break out my knickers this morning for my ride to work. fox ten weather told me it was 50 degrees this morning at 6:50 when i left my house. it almost feels like october is around the corner.

i get the chance to take the dogs out to the trails this past saturday. it was so nice out there. the weather was perfect as were the trails. they were holding a little bit of water from all of the rain we've been having.

i rode to work today. it was the first morning in well over a week that i have swung a leg over a bike and hit the streets. i did about two minutes on my brother's trek on his trainer while in virginia, but stationary cycling in a garage in virginia in october is pointless since its beautiful outside. so i opted to ride the useless wooden toy down some mild neighborhood hills instead. but back to this morning, it is october seventeenth and i can still manage to sweat my ass off in the two and a half mile ride to work. come on winter....

back from my babysitting adventure. had a blast. wish i was still there really. i got a pretty good amount of photos of the kids, but i'm not going to put them on the internet.

the atlanta airport is like a zoo filled with animals that can talk. i walked around there for three hours yesterday and had plenty of opportunities to take pictures of the wildlife but decided not to as i was getting a migraine and really had no desire to see that place ever again.

i will add this thought though: people in airports do the strangest things.
