tropical citrus

alas, it is done.

i took off last friday and this past monday for a nice long four day weekend with my century on saturday.

it was a good ride, 105 miles with no flats or other mechanical issues. good food was provided for us. lots of people turned out to ride. great weather. i think it was about 55 at eight o'clock in the morning when everyone took off and i don't think it ever broke 75.

one disturbing thing was the wildlife. aside from a couple horses, some goats (one with his head stuck in the fence), and a snake on the trail, everything was dead. dear, armadillo, opossum, rabbits, birds, everything was dead. the smell was horrible in the select locations where the bodies seemed to group up.

of course now it is back to life as usual. work work work.
