pensacola is not known for its legendary graffiti talent. pensacola is also not known for its overflowing artistic talent in any regard really. don't get me wrong, we do have some phenominal local artists, but they tend to make up just a small fraction of what you actually see in the galleries. the rest is usually some ceramic flamingo or a seashell painted with a sand dune or a pastel sponge painted t-shirt with puff paint shells and pelicans, etc.anyway, i was on my way to work the other day when i saw this bit of public art and it made my day. simple, creative, and uplifting in its own right. it makes me want to go home and paint.
