when leaving coon hill cemetery we tried blazing our way around the gate and through the woods. we were fairly unsuccessful in this attempt. we were, however, successful at finding this discolored and fairly well-hidden bat in the woods. it was burried under some brush a few feet from the edge of the road. had it not been for two ne'er-do-wells on scooters, this thing would probably have remained hidden for quite some time. we decided to bring it with us as something of this nature is a little inappropriate to just leave in the woods - in my opinion anyway.
