we're switching things up in 2011. we moved house already this year. we lost a fair amount of space, but gained a yard with some grass for the boy and mable to play in. i also gained a garage, which is awesome.
yesterday, to continue with the theme of changing things for the better, i quit my job. it was a tough decision to make, but it was a long time coming. i feel like a giant weight has been lifted from my shoulders.
pretty soon we will be back in the washington dc area to attend a family reunion of sorts. we're looking forward to getting out of town for a minute, to say the least.
last night, to celebrate career shifts, we went to sumo sushi and stuffed ourselves. on the way back home i poked my head into the new skin & bones tattoo parlour. this place is HUGE!!
to wrap up, the clock just ticked over to 6:00am and the heat index is already at 96.
